Nikola Marjanov began his music education at the music school in Vrbas, learning piano and violin simultaneously. He started learning the clarinet with Professor Lazar Kondić at the music school in Vrbas in 2009. After successfully completing the elementary music school for all three instruments, he continued learning the clarinet in the class of Professor Dura Peta at the "Isidor Bajić" Music School in Novi Sad. He also attended the bilingual department in German at the "Jovan Jovanović Zmaj" Gymnasium in Novi Sad. He enrolled in clarinet studies in 2016 at the age of 17 at the Faculty of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac in the class of Professor Aleksandar Tasić, completing his undergraduate studies in 2020 and his master's studies in 2022, also in the class of Professor Aleksandar Tasić. In February 2023, he enrolled in doctoral studies in clarinet at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, where he is currently a second-year doctoral student. Since 2024, he has been a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation.

He has attended masterclasses with eminent professors and international soloists: Mr Nikola Srdić (Serbia), Mr. Đura Peta (Serbia), Mr. Aleksandar Tasić (Serbia), Zsolt Szatmári (Hungary), Ognjen Popović (Serbia), Béla Kovács (Hungary-Austria), Miloš Mijatović (Serbia), Sérgio Pires (Portugal), Patric Messina (France), Milan Rericha (Czech Republic-Switzerland), Petr Vašek (Czech Republic), and Marko Zavišić (Croatia). During his education, he has won numerous awards, including laureate of the international clarinet competition "Czech Clarinet Art" in 2014, two first prizes at the republican clarinet competition, and third prize at the "International Orchestra Audition Samnium" competition in Benevento, Italy. In addition to his solo and chamber music performances, he also performs orchestral music, which is one of the most important segments for woodwind instruments. He has performed with the international youth orchestra in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, with the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra in Switzerland (Verbier Junior Orchestra) in 2014, 2015, and 2017, with the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra in Luxembourg and the Netherlands (European Union Youth Wind Orchestra-EUYWO) in 2016 as first clarinet, with the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, Subotica Symphony Orchestra, Zrenjanin Symphony Orchestra, and the Novi Sad Soloists Orchestra.

As an orchestral musician, he has played under the baton of renowned conductors: Daniel Harding (United Kingdom), Dmitri Slobodeniouk, Jesús López Cobos, Alondra de la Parra, Joshua Weilerstein, Daniel Raiskin, Srb Dinić, Aleksandar Marković, Gabriel Bebeselea, and many others. He attended the orchestral academy of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017. He has also performed at the "NOMUS" and "Festival Neo" festivals as a member of the chamber ensemble "NS Chamber Ensemble," performed at the "BEMUS" festival in Belgrade and "The Camille Awards" European film festival. From 2021 to 2022, he lived and worked in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he was a member of the official music team of the Dubai Expo 2020 world fair, consisting of only 55 musicians from around the world.

Since 2022, he has been regularly invited to participate in projects of the "Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra" as an E-flat clarinet (piccolo clarinet) player.
